Armenia and back

This summer we made a 12000km long trip to Armenia and back to Germany. On this trip we visited 16 countries, met lots of wonderful people and enjoyed the beautiful and different landscape.

Alaska / Yukon

In August we traveled through Alaska and the Yukon Territory. There we spend our honeymoon! This was a wonderful trip. You can find some pictures in the North America Album and a short film in the Multimedia Section. Dont´t worry, the plane at 1:45 crashed already in 1951, somewhere northwest of Fairbanks.
I uploaded also a picture from Prizren/Kosovo. We visited this city in June, when we traveled trough the Balkan.
Balkan

During our second trip through the Balkan we traveld by bus and train from Istanbul back home to Germany. We visited Istanbul, Skopje, Prizren, Ulcijn, Belgarde, Zagreb and Ljubjana. You can find a short video here .

Venice

Last week we returned from a trip through 9 european countries. With our 1979er VW fire engine we visited Germany, Austria, Italy, Greece, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Slovenia. We also had our foldable kayak with us, so we kayaked in the Ionian and in the Adriatic Sea. You can find some pictures in the South Europe Album and a short film in the Multimedia Section.

One month ago I moved from Weingarten to Isny. Isny is a small town in the Allgäu. I´m really happy to live here, because the Allgäu is a wonderful region for Outdoor-Sports. In the Alps Album you can find a picture, where you can see the Allgäu where i´m living now.
Jemaa El Fna

I posted a short slideshow about the Jemaa El Fna. This is a world famous place in Marrakesh/Morocco. Every day, especially every evening and night there is a vibrant life on the place.

Last week I returned from a short trip with my girlfriend to Morokko. We visited Marrakesh and Essaouira, a small town at the coast. You can find some pictures in the North Africa Album.

Presentation

On July the 13th I will give a presentation on my journey through Iran . Iran is a fascinating country where I met so many wonderful people. The presentation will be given at the University of Education in Weingarten, room number F 218.
Während meiner Reise durch Iran lernte ich dieses Land von einer Seite kennen, von der in den Massenmedien kaum berichtet wird. Über diese Erfahrungen und den Begegnungen mit faszinierenden Menschen werde ich in einem öffentlichen Vortrag berichten.

Presentation

I'm happy to announce that I will give a presentation on my last journey. This journey was a 4 week and 2400km long bike ride through the UAE and Oman in 2009. The presentation will be given on April the 22nd at 8pm in the Castle in Gomaringen.
